Liam's credits cross many genres and, after nine years developing and honing his talent, his creative flair and technical knowledge is a force to be reckoned with. He has worked with both RAW and processed footage, up to 6k and across many different cameras so has a great understanding of how to get the best colour grade from each format.
The grading suite at Flix is Da Vinci Resolve but Liam can also operate Da Vinci 2KPlus, Baselight, and Apple Color.
Recent credits include CBBC's drama So Awkward, Fred and Rose: The Untold Story, Gigglebiz and ITV's Perspectives. Liam was also praised for his work on the Emile Sande in Search of Frida Kalho documentary, which won RTS Best Post Production in 2014.

Mark's long and varied technical career eventually led him to join Flix in 1997 where he has cemented his talents as an online editor and Compositor. Operating DS Nitris as well as Symphony, Mark has recently worked on Dispatches, Age Gap Love and Wanda and the Alien. Mark also works alongside the CGI team to complete VFX work such as ITV's Cilla and So Awkward.
Mark's work spans a wide variety of factual broadcast genres, drama and children's television. Many of the programmes he has worked on have garnered RTS awards and a children's BAFTA. Mark is able to work as a dedicated finishing editor providing both the online edit and grade using Avid Symphony. He also works closely with Flix's senior colourist Liam Shanagher to provide a seamless and efficient workflow between grade and online, dealing with sequence preparation, through to final reassemble of the completed programme and delivery. With an exceptionally high QC and QAR pass rate, he is a technically rounded and knowledgeable asset. Mark is our Guru for AS11 file delivery and ever evolving delivery specifications across all broadcasters.
Joshua joined Flix in 2008 on work experience and has risen through the ranks to become one of our Online/Offline editors. He has worked on many genres from Drama, Current Affairs and Children's to name a few. Now not just an Avid Editor he is also a DS operator. Joshua's recent work includes CloudBabies, Twirlywoos, Postman Pat and Dinopaws.
Robin joined Flix in 2007 and quickly moved into dubbing, with a particular specialism in animation and children's. With credits such as Old Jack's Boat, Tree Fu Tom and Toby's Travelling Circus, Robin's keen ear and creative sound design provide the audioscape for these popular children's programmes. Robin also has experience in documentaries with extensive work for Nine Lives on their Dispatches series and worked on the RTS Craft award winning Emile Sande in Search of Frida Kahlo.
Hannah is a highly experienced mixer, with over 15 years in the industry, working on a wide variety of genres, including; documentaries, drama, commercials, childrens TV and animation. Hannah was the very first staff Dubbing Mixer to join the Flix team in 2007 and previously worked at such companies as Lime TV, Talkback Thames, Frontierpost, Soho and Storm HD Covent Garden. Her recent credits include BAFTA winning My life: Me My Dad & Kidney (BBC1) CBBeebies Cloudbabies, BBC's Poundshop Wars and Perspectives: Michael Jackson's Thriller for ITV.
Hannah has a great personable work ethic and clients often remark on her talent for getting great performances out of children voice artists.
Rob joined Flix as a technical operator in 2011 and quickly progressed into the dubbing department. A background in music technology and composition allows Rob to tackle technically demanding jobs with a creative outlook. Rob's credits include Dinopaws, Toby's Travelling Circus, Old Jack's Boat and Benidorm ER and he has also developed a particular skill for sound design and re-versioning. Rob has also composed music for several animated and live action productions.
With over eleven years as a Dubbing Mixer, Lindsey has worked across all genres with notable credits on CBBC's drama So Awkward, The Royle Family, Racing Legends, Rip Off Britain and Dragons Den. At home on Pro Control, Control 24, Avid Eucon 6 or Icon D Command, she continues to develop great client relationships, delivering on time and on budget.
Moving into the Dubbing Mixer role in 2009, Gemma has quickly developed specialisms in childrens, factual and entertainment as well as excellent skills in drama ADR, voice over and FX editing. Her technical knowledge and ability span across numerous programmes including Pro Tools, Digidesign Icon, D-Control, D command, Euphonix System 5, Artist Series mixing desks as well as Avid Eucon S6. Her key credits include Marrying Mum & Dad, Rip Off Britain, Pound Shop Wars, the Fern Meets series and Brendans Magical Mystery Tour as well as ADR and FX editing on several prime time dramas. She also tracklayed and created foley for the CBBC drama series So Awkward.

Head of Animation, Graphics & VFX
Simon has contributed to numerous animation and puppetry series including Postman Pat SDS, The Furchester Hotel, Toby's Travelling Circus and Mister Maker Comes to Town. He is also the Animation Director and designer on the BAFTA award winning BBC children's series Old Jacks Boat.
Simon worked on the animated promotional films for the New York Museum of Modern Art's blockbuster exhibition: 'The Art of Tim Burton' and most recently was Producer and Director on the Poppies Remembrance film for CBeebies and CBBC.
Simon oversees our talented animation, graphics and VFX team and is involved in all productions that have any VFX elements in a supervisory or creative capacity.
John joined Flix in Spring 2007 and has over 10 years industry experience.
An all round animation and motion graphics artist, John works in 2D, 3D and with particle effects to create animated sequences and vfx for a wide range of TV productions. From kids (Postman Pat, Toby's Travelling Circus, The Furchester Hotel) to hard hitting documentaries (Crimes that shook Britain, Fred & Rose).
He also designed and created the opening titles for Little Explorers, My Team: The Cheerleaders and the BAFTA Award winning My Life and Old Jack's Boat.
David joined Flix Facilities in 2012 after working freelance across animation, motion graphics and design. David is an all around CG artist an animator and is the departments 3D specialist.
Since joining David has and continues to enjoy playing key roles in many of the fantastic productions that have come through the department.
Whether it is creating the exterior of The Furchester Hotel, making sure Postman Pat's Van is seen leaving Greendale for a delivery or animating friends of Old Jack help solve something fishy, David always gives it 100%
Leo set up Flix over 23 years ago and has been at the helm ever since. With over 30 years experience working in Post Production and some impressive credits he went onto develop the excellent reputation for Animation that Flix enjoys and then moving the company into central Manchester expanding the portfolio to include Dramas and Documentaries.
Leo is also known for throwing some of the best industry parties in the North!
Paul met Leo 5 years ago and, after helping Leo to restructure the company, he invested in Flix, buying out Leo's former business partner. In 2011 Paul took on the role of Finance Director and brought with him a wealth of business and banking experience which has led to Flix's rapid expansion into MediaCity. With a keen eye on long term planning, the new White Tower will lead into the exciting new venture of the IP Fund which will be managed by Paul directly.
A Business Management graduate, Jamie has been with Flix since the start of the expansion 4 years ago. Constantly reviewing Flix's services and facilities, Jamie ensures clients get the best experience and value at Flix.
Front of House Supervisor
As a former director (Shipwrecked, 10 Years Younger, Britain's Next Top Model) Anna understands the pressures of working to tight deadlines in post. And just a friendly smile and the offer of a cup of tea can make all the difference to a long day in the edit. Anna ensures that each Producer, Director and Editor receive everything they may need, and at Flix they can work in a relaxed atmosphere and a creative environment.
On graduating from Salford University with a degree in Audio Engineering Joseph Bowen joined Flix as a Technical Operator. Developing an extensive array of technical knowledge he progressed to an Assistant Editor before finally becoming a Post-Producer. Utilising his range of technical know-how Joseph is able to develop and manage projects from workflow design to ingest and final delivery.
Kate joined Flix in 2006 and has grown with the company. Her role as Post Producer means that she ensures the smooth running of programmes from quote through to delivery. During her time at Flix, Kate has formed close relationships with Nine Lives, Blakeway North, Mackinnon and Saunders and BBC, and has looked after a host programmes including Dispatches, Benidorm ER, Perspectives, TreeFu Tom and Postman Pat.
Kate communicates well with both staff and clients to ensure each job is carefully planned and has the personal attention it deserves.
After graduating from University of Salford with a degree in Television and Radio production, Rebecca began her career at Edit 19 as a runner and quickly worked her way up to junior post producer. There she worked on TV commercials for Richer Sounds, Jet2 and Missguided. Rebecca joined Flix in June 2015 as Post Producer, taking on productions across all genres as well as looking after the Animation, VFX and Graphics team schedules. Rebecca has quickly settled into her new role with great client communication and she relishes new challenges.
