Busy, busy, busy! Flix Towers is stacked to the rafters this month.
CBBC's 'Beat the Boss' is in full swing and the team from Blakeway North have just made themselves at home here to produce their 3 x 60min for BBC Two. 'Lost in Care' (Dispatches/C4) was delivered earlier this month by Laura and the Tech Room Team, and over the next couple of weeks we see more top shows and series coming our way.
'Extraordinary People' (five) begins in offline again with 'The Man with Half a Body'. Kerry Brierley (Nine Lives) and our very own Mark Wharton hope to repeat the award-winning success they had with 'The World's Oldest Conjoined Twins'.
Regulars to Flix, The One Show, and BKN were added to this month with Property Watch (BBC) and more episodes of Nightmare In Suburbia for the C&I Network.
The Flix CGI team have also been working hard during the last month. They are putting the finishing touches to the graphics required for all of the Regional Business Awards, with filming due to begin in the next few weeks. They have continued to provide graphic solutions to our editors and their clients for a variety of programmes. DVD and DVD-Rom authoring has also been plentiful. The team also continue to work on their own projects out of hours, the fruits of which will be shown in the scrapbook section of CGI's own website, click here to visit.
Finally, we say a fond farewell to Tim Owen, who left us at the end of April. He has gone to seek fame, fortune and sun (probably) in Australia. He will be sorely missed, if only for his ridiculous dancing when under the influence!
