OFFLINE
The tried, tested & trusted Avid workflow is both operated and maintained to the highest standard here at Flix. Our offlines are networked via Lanshare and fully integrated with the HD / SD DS NITRIS online and the dolby 5.1 surround dubbing theatre. All our video editing suites have broadband and wireless connectivity.
The machines themselves are housed in the Central Apparatus Room keeping the edit suites quiet and comfortable. In addition, all our video editing suites are served by bright and natural daylight through the large original feature windows throughout the building.
ONLINE
Grade, composite, HD or SD, Tapeless or not. Its up to you - anything is possible. With sophisticated HD/SD monitoring and error checking, delivery quality is guaranteed. The Avid DS Nitris is the industry leader in resolution independent editing, and using Avid's sophisticated project interchange format, the exchange from the offline suites is seamless.

Audio Dubbing
The audio dubbing theatre is one of our major attributes. Flix were the first facility in the UK to install the next generation Neve MMC300 mixing console, being equipped for Dolby 5.1 surround sound. Our theatre is complete with a generously sized booth for voiceovers and foley and our spacious mixing room can accommodate multiple artists making ADR easy work. We are also equipped with ISDN and 'Digi Delivery' so we can send your sessions anywhere in the world.
Our audio dubbing team has over twenty years of experience in a wide range of programme genres.
3D / CGI / Design
Flix CGI is a 3D animation and CGI effects department. Whether you require a full CGI world build, title sequence, special effects or just a good old spinning logo we can supply your production with a full graphics solution.
The close relationship with our Online and Offline editors means that 3D animation and CGI fits in seamlessly with the rest of the production pipeline here at Flix.
